Gary Sihota has extensive work experience in engineering and project management roles. Gary started their career as a CNC Operator Mechanical Technologist at ASCO in 2006. Gary then worked as a Technical Sales Rep & Estimator at Connexus Industries in 2007. From 2010 to 2011, they were a Mechanical Engineer-In-Training at Nu-Westech Engineering Ltd. Gary joined the Society of Punjabi Engineers & Technologists of British Columbia (SPEATBC) in 2009 as a Public Relations Director. In 2011, they became a member of the Member Advisory Committee on the Environment at the City of Richmond, B.C. During their time at Stolberg Engineering Ltd., Gary held various roles including Mechanical Designer EIT, Jr. Project Manager, Mechanical Engineer, and Administrative & HR - Misc. functions. Gary'sresponsibilities included mechanical design, project management, and procurement. Since 2019, Gary has been working at Mid-South Engineering as a Project Manager & Senior Engineer and is currently serving as the Director of Operations. In these roles, they are responsible for strategic leadership, operational oversight, financial planning, and budgeting.

Gary Sihota has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lakehead University, which they completed in 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Mechanical Engineering Technology Diploma with a focus on Manufacturing from the British Columbia Institute of Technology in 2005. In addition, Gary has achieved certifications as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) from Engineers and Geoscientists BC and as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
