Dr. Telisa Franklin

Dr. Telisa Franklin currently serves as President of Memphis Juneteenth and has held this position since January 2011, while also acting as Executive Director since April 2011. Dr. Franklin is the Chief Executive Officer of Trend Radio Group and President of Wavn The Trend Radio Station since October 2020 and November 2019, respectively. Additionally, Dr. Franklin is the Multi Cultural Relations Coordinator for the Mid-South Transplant Foundation, Inc. and President of Flowers and More. Previous experience includes a marketing coordinator/manager role at H&R Block and producing television shows through Telisa Franklin and Company. Dr. Franklin holds Master's degrees in Religion/Religious Studies from Brewster Theological Seminary and Biblical Studies from Victory University.
