Chii-Hui Peterson

Chii-Hui Peterson, MPA-HA, CPHRM, has extensive experience in risk management and healthcare administration, currently serving as Associate Vice President of Enterprise Risk at Samaritan Health Services since September 2008. In this role, Chii-Hui leads enterprise risk management, risk financing, and captive operations within a community-based health system. Previous positions at the same organization include Enterprise Risk Officer, Director of Enterprise Risk Management and Patient Safety, and Manager of Risk & Compliance Operations, where oversight of patient safety and risk management was key. Chii-Hui also managed the Administrative Services department and the Health Career and Training Center, demonstrating a commitment to community outreach and educational initiatives. Earlier career roles included a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks and a Bank Teller at Washington Mutual Bank. Educational achievements include an MPA in Healthcare Administration from Portland State University and a BS in Clinical Psychology from Oregon State University.
