Alan Brown

Alan Brown is an experienced tax professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Tax Research Counsel at MidAmerican Energy since January 2003, Alan has previously held the same position at Berkshire Hathaway Energy Company from 2003 to 2015. Earlier in the career, Alan worked as a Tax Senior at Deloitte & Touche from 1991 to 1995. Alan holds a JD-MBA degree from the University of Iowa, completed in 1991, and has a foundational education from Central College, where studies were pursued from 1983 to 1987.
