Kelly Swenson

Kelly Swenson has over 20 years of diverse experience in economic and community development, program management, and engineering. Currently serving as the Business & Community Development Manager at MidAmerican Energy Company since April 2012, responsibilities include community relations, customer service, and corporate citizenship initiatives. Previous roles include Right of Way Agent, focused on land acquisition and compliance, and Engineering Design Technician, emphasizing infrastructure design and compliance review. Prior experience at the City of Coralville involved coordinating engineering, right of way, and stormwater programs. Earlier in the career, Kelly worked as a Civil Engineering Land Planner at Engineering Resource Group, Inc., and holds a Bachelor of Science in Community and Regional Planning from Iowa State University, along with additional qualifications in economic development and architectural technologies.
