Leanna Klein

Leanna Klein, MBA, PHR, SHRM-CP has a wealth of experience in human resources and HR technology. Leanna most recently served as the Director of HR Technology, Payroll, and Compensation at MidAmerican Energy Company, where they successfully led the implementation of a global HR system. Leanna'sresponsibilities included conversion and cutover planning and execution, as well as managing legacy system shutdown activities. Prior to this role, Leanna was the HR Technology Manager at the same company, where they assisted in determining HR technology system priorities and managed implementations and enhancements.

Before joining MidAmerican Energy, Leanna held several roles at different organizations, including HR Analyst at The Weitz Company, HR Recruiter at Mercy Medical Center - Des Moines, and HR Generalist at Orchard Place. Leanna gained experience in recruiting, coordinating hiring processes, reviewing applications, and conducting interviews. Leanna began their career as an intern in the human resources department at Ball, where they conducted background checks, created employee files, and led testing and interviews.

Leanna Klein holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General, which they obtained from The University of South Dakota from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management from Iowa State University - Ivy College of Business from 2003 to 2006. Leanna Klein has also obtained additional certifications including a SHRM-CP certification from SHRM in 2015 and a Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in 2009.
