Mike Sutter

Mike Sutter is a seasoned professional in the energy sector with extensive experience at MidAmerican Energy Company since May 2013. In various roles including Manager of Transmission Operations, Supervisor of Substations, and Transmission Outage Coordinator, Mike Sutter has focused on real-time and day-ahead market operations for generating plants, as well as monitoring facility outputs within the MEC and MISO footprint. Prior experience includes working as a Transmission System Operator and Substation Electrician at Corn Belt Power Cooperative from November 2007 to May 2013, where responsibilities encompassed substation maintenance and ensuring NERC reliability. Mike Sutter holds a degree in Electrical Transmission System Technology from Bismarck State College and has furthered education at the University of Northern Iowa and Ellsworth Community College.
