Amber Schwiesow

Amber Schwiesow has a diverse work experience across various industries. Amber is currently the Vice President of Procurement and Supply Chain at Midcontinent since January 2022. Prior to this, they had been the Director of Procurement and Supply Chain at the same company from November 2017 to January 2022. Before joining Midcontinent, Amber served as the Director of Business Engineering and Operations from May 2015 to November 2017. Earlier in their career, they worked at Raven Industries, where they held positions such as Global Product Service Manager from 2013 to 2015, Production Manager in Brazil from 2011 to 2013, and International Sales Coordinator from 2010 to 2011. Prior to that, they worked at POET as a Marketing Manager from 2008 to 2009, and at Archer Daniels Midland Company as a Quality Control Lab Technician from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, in 2006, Amber worked as an Adjunct Instructor of Spanish at Augustana College (SD).

Amber Schwiesow attended Tuck Executive Education at Dartmouth in 2023, where they completed the SCTE-Tuck Executive Leadership Program. Prior to that, they obtained an MBA from the University of Sioux Falls from 2008 to 2011, specializing in Business Administration and Management. In 2002, they graduated with a Bachelor's degree from the University of Iowa, focusing on Spanish, Portuguese, and International Studies. In 1998, they received their High School diploma from The American School Foundation of Guadalajara. Additionally, they hold certifications in RYT200 from Yoga Alliance, obtained in 2020, and ISO 9001:2008 from RABQSA, obtained in 2010.
