Bedriya A.

Bedriya A. has a diverse work experience spanning over a period of several years. Bedriya recently joined MBC GROUP in August 2022 as an Employee Engagement Manager. Prior to this, they worked for General Motors Middle East from May 2016 to July 2022, where they held the position of HR Business Partner / Workplace of Choice and DEI Lead. Before that, they worked at Bateel International LLC as an HR Business Partner for the UAE for a brief period from March 2015 to November 2015. Bedriya also gained experience at Fonterra as an HR Advisor from November 2013 to December 2014. Moreover, at General Motors, they had two roles, first as an HR Business Partner / ISP & Benefits Administrator from November 2011 to November 2013, and then as an HR Coordinator from June 2010 to October 2011. During their time at the American University of Sharjah, they worked as an HR Research Assistant from January 2009 to May 2010. Bedriya also had a short-term internship at the City of Portland in the Office of Management and Finance in the summer of 2007. Lastly, their first work experience was as a Customer Service Representative at Vesta Corporation in July and August 2006.

Bedriya A. completed their education in a chronological order. Bedriya started their educational journey in 2003 and graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor's degree in Management and Management Information Systems from the American University of Sharjah. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Human Resources from the same university, which they completed in 2011.

In addition to their academic degrees, Bedriya A. obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. In December 2014, they became a certified practitioner of MBTI, Step I and Step II from The Myers-Briggs Company. Later, in December 2021, they obtained the certification of Certified Practitioner ESCI (Emotional and Social Competency Inventory) from Korn Ferry. Bedriya'smost recent certification is the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging DEIB Specialist, which they obtained from the AIHR | Academy to Innovate HR in June 2023.
