Nikhil Khanna

Nikhil Khanna has a strong background in visual effects and promotions, with experience in various companies in the media industry. Nikhil started their career as a Compositor and 3D-VFX Artist at Samudra Tulika Pvt Ltd in 2000, where they worked until 2004. During this time, they gained experience in compositing and 3D modeling.

In 2004, Khanna joined Rajtaru Studio Limited as a Visual Effects Artist, where they were responsible for quality control of footage, inserting visual effects shots into timelines, and assisting lead artists with compositing, rotoscoping, and painting. Nikhil worked on Bollywood movies such as Lakshya and Asa Nu Maan Vatna Da.

Continuing their career in the media industry, Khanna joined Zee Telefilms Ltd later in 2004 as a Senior VFX Artist. Nikhil worked on promotional material for SaReGaMaPa series and ZEE Cine Awards, collaborating with art directors and designers to create award-winning VFX projects. Nikhil also communicated with project coordinators to meet director's expectations.

In 2008, Khanna joined Arabia Television Network (ATN) as a Senior Visual Efx Artist. Nikhil oversaw projects during the launch of Mtv Arabia and Nickelodeon Arabia, leading 2D and 3D teams.

Khanna's most recent role was as a Senior Promotions VFX Artist at Middle East Broadcasting Center (MBC). Here, they designed promotions for MBC group channels such as MBC 1, MBC Action, MBC MAX, MBC3, and Al Arabiya. Nikhil created layouts and graphics for broadcast in UAE, KSA, Africa, and Egypt. Additionally, they collaborated with production, supervisors, and teams to strategize show launches and ensure smooth delivery.

Nikhil Khanna's education history begins with their high school education at Fr. Agnels Multipurpose School from 1987 to 1994. Following this, they pursued a Diploma in Computer Science at Bharati Vidyapeeth from 1994 to 1997. Nikhil furthered their studies by completing a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering at Dhyaneshwar Vidyapeeth Pune from 1997 to 2000.

In addition to their formal education, Nikhil Khanna has obtained certifications in the field of Virtual Reality. In February 2022, they completed the "Intro to Virtual Reality (VR) Filmmaking" and "Virtual Reality Foundations" certifications from LinkedIn.
