Nuru Majid

Nuru Majid has gained a variety of work experience in different roles and companies. They began their career as a Finance Department Trainee at Kenya Maritime Authority in May 2018. In February 2019, Nuru worked as a Finance Department Intern at Al Foah. In June 2019, they joined Deloitte as a Junior Financial Analyst until November 2019. Nuru then joined MBC GROUP in January 2020 as an Intern in Partnerships. They later transitioned to the role of Content Rights Specialist in February 2020. In September 2021, Nuru was promoted to the position of Associate Corporate Planner, and in May 2023, they became a Corporate Planner at MBC GROUP.

Nuru Majid completed their bachelor's degree in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law at United Arab Emirates University from 2015 to 2018. In addition to their degree, Nuru has obtained several certifications. They obtained the Quickbooks certification from Star Institute of Professionals in June 2015, followed by the Sage Online Accounting certification from the same institution in June 2016. In September 2019, Nuru obtained the AWS Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Lastly, in May 2018, Nuru obtained the SAP ERP Certification from SAP. Their most recent certification is the "Think on Your Feet" certification received from Mind Tools in April 2023.
