Senior Production Designer - VIZ Artist at Middle East Broadcasting Center

Romain Goyer has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Romain started their career in 2003 as an Editor at France Télévisions Publicités, where they edited scheduling playlists of advertising films and managed copying equipment on video servers.

In 2005, Romain worked as a Nodal Technician at VIDEOMAGE, where they focused on duplication on various media supports. Romain then joined ROMNES Films as a Director, handling the direction and editing of commercials, institutional videos, conferences, concerts, and short films.

Moving forward, Romain worked as a Trainee Graphic Designer at Duran duboi in 2006, focusing on rotoscoping and graphic retouching for TV and cinema films. Romain also briefly worked as a Shooting Operator at Video Corp.

In 2006, Romain began their journey at BFMTV, initially as a Trafic Operator & Server Operator. Romain was responsible for steering and recording satellite feeds on video servers, ensuring high-quality video and audio content across platforms. Romain then transitioned into a Graphic Designer role, where they produced graphic packages for political elections, weather and sports events. Romain also worked closely with journalists and producers to create current affairs graphics and innovated in the conception and explanation of breaking news events using 3D.

Romain's next role at BFMTV was as a Graphic Editorial Supervisor / Graphic Designer, where they supervised a graphic editorial team, designed graphics using Viz Artist, and communicated on new graphic packages. Additionally, they facilitated the setup of editorial events and provided templates to enhance journalists' reactivity.

Most recently, Romain worked at MBC GROUP as a Production Designer and later as a Senior Production Designer. In these roles, they focused on designing highly conceptual graphics, finding graphical solutions, and revamping and integrating various graphic packages for assigned projects. Romain also developed digital projects linked with social media platforms by optimizing and scripting with Viz software.

Overall, Romain Goyer has gathered extensive experience in the fields of graphic design, video production, and editing throughout their career.

Romain Goyer attended Lycée Jacques Prévert from 2003 to 2005, where they obtained a BTEC Higher National Diploma in Audiovisual. Romain'sfield of study was Audiovisual Communications Technologies/Technicians.

Additionally, Romain Goyer has also obtained a Google UX Design Certificate from Coursera in May 2022. The institution that granted the certification is Coursera.
