Rupert Morling has a wide range of experience in the broadcast and media industry. Rupert started their career at Granada Media in 1996 as a Media Planning Research Executive and later worked as a Programme & Broadcast Research Executive. In 1998, they joined ITV as a Broadcasting & Strategy Executive for ITV2. After that, they worked at UKTV as a Schedule Manager before moving to the BBC as a Portfolio Schedule Manager. At the BBC, they produced and managed the BBC Portfolio Schedule. In 2002, they joined Viacom International Media Networks as a Vice President, Programming & Scheduling UK Channels, where they successfully developed and executed programming, production, and marketing strategies for MTV, VH1, and TMF channels. In 2007, they joined Discovery Networks International as a Vice President, taking on roles such as Vice President Scheduling - Discovery Channels UK and later Vice President - Programming, Digital Media & Strategy. In these roles, they played a key role in channel scheduling, strategy development, commissioning, and new channel propositions. Most recently, since 2010, Rupert has been serving as the Head of MBC Action, where they have defined an editorial vision, implemented long-term channel strategies, coordinated various departments, and achieved budget and revenue targets. In addition, they worked as an International Broadcast & Media Consultant from 2016 onwards. Throughout their career, Rupert has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and an ability to deliver results.
