Souraya al Akoury

Souraya Al Akoury has a diverse work experience spanning over 13 years. Souraya is currently working as a Human Resources Generalist at MBC GROUP since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Human Resources Specialist at Lactalis International from 2019 to 2022, where they played a key role in promoting organizational growth and maintaining a healthy work culture. Before that, they served as a Human Resources Specialist at The Luxury Closet, Inc. from 2016 to 2018, overseeing all HR duties and facilitating the onboarding process. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Lead Brand Ambassador at Cartier - CRM Middle East, managing a team and ensuring excellent customer service. Additionally, they gained experience as a Customer Satisfaction and Claims Supervisor at Emirates Airlines from 2011 to 2014, supervising a team and resolving customer issues. Souraya also has entrepreneurial experience as the Business Owner of a retail clothing store from 2008 to 2011. Early in their career, they worked as a Trainee at Georges Touma Accounting office in 2009, gaining experience in cash operations and financial transactions.

Souraya Al Akoury completed their high school education at Kafarshima High School from 2002 to 2005, earning an Economics and Sociology baccalaureate degree. Souraya then pursued further education at Ecole des arts et métiers from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Auditing and Accounting, with a field of study in Accounting and Finance. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in Standard Eng./West. from World Education Services in February 2018.
