Ahmed Ghulam al Balushi

Ahmed Ghulam Al Balushi, PhD, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in governance, risk, and compliance, currently serving as the Group Head for GRC, Corporate Relations, ICV, RDI, and ESG at ITHCA Group since December 2021. Al Balushi holds significant roles in multiple committees, including the Group Information Security Committee and Management Investment Committee, while also contributing to the Oman Investment Authority's ICV Task Force and serving as a representative for the National E-Commerce Joint Technical Committee. Additionally, Al Balushi has been involved with the Board of Directors Committee at FRONTECH and the Programme Advisory Committee at Middle East College. Previous roles include leadership positions at Oman Tower Company and Oman Broadband, alongside academic contributions as a visiting lecturer. Al Balushi's educational background includes a PhD in Information and Communication Technology, an MBA, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
