Middle East Institute
Amr Salah serves as a Non-Resident Scholar at the Middle East Institute since August 2023 and an Instructor at the Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution at George Mason University since August 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Fellow at the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt from April 2019 to August 2019, and as a Columnist and Analyst at tahrirnews from 2011 to 2015. Additional positions held include Researcher at the Cairo Institute for Human Rights Studies (CIHRS) between 2009 and 2011, and Program Coordinator at the Friedrich-Naumann-Stiftung für die Freiheit from 2007 to 2008. Amr Salah is currently pursuing a PhD in Conflict Resolution at George Mason University, with previous educational qualifications including a Master's degree in International Relations from the University of Exeter, a Diploma in Human Rights and Civil Society from Cairo University, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Alexandria University.
