Ricardo Gutiérrez

Ricardo Gutiérrez is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in content development, community outreach, and strategic engagement, particularly within the Latino community. Currently serving as a Senior Spanish Content Advisor at Middle Seat since October 2016 and as Member Outreach Director for Grassroots For Sanders, Gutiérrez has effectively mobilized grassroots volunteers for positive engagement outcomes related to Senator Bernie Sanders' campaigns. Previous roles include Senior Advisor for Latinx Engagement at Greenpeace, Spanish Language Content Manager for Tom Steyer 2020, and Campaign Manager for Jess Phoenix for Congress. Gutiérrez also has a robust military background as an Emergency Operations Center Leading Petty Officer with the United States Navy, along with significant experience in public relations and communications from previous positions, including Director of Communications at Rubberit and Director of Spanish Communications for Bernie 2016. Gutiérrez holds multiple degrees, including an Associate's in Liberal Studies from San Diego City College.
