Robert Shawn Long

Robert Shawn Long has extensive experience in information technology and military leadership. Currently serving as Information Technology Manager at Middle Tennessee Electric Membership Corporation since August 1999, Robert has held various roles including Telecommunications Supervisor and Telecommunications Specialist. Prior military service includes a decorated career as a Major in the United States Army Reserve, where Robert commanded units during Operation Iraqi Freedom and served as a CBRN Staff Officer. Additional earlier roles encompass positions such as Systems Supervisor at MobileComm and Senior Communications Technician at Big Rivers Electric Corporation. Robert's military background also includes time in the United States Marine Corps. Academically, Robert holds an MBA with an emphasis in Information Systems from Middle Tennessee State University, a BSOM in Organizational Management from Oakland City University, and an AAS in Electronics Technology from Ivy Tech Community College.
