Steve Sax

Steve Sax is a seasoned utility manager with extensive experience in the electric, water, and wastewater sectors. Serving as the General Manager at Murfreesboro Electric Department since June 2006, Steve Sax has led the organization through various challenges and advancements in the utility industry. Prior to this role, Steve Sax directed the Utility Division for the City of Dover, DE, from November 2004 to May 2006, overseeing the management of multiple utility services. Steve Sax also held the position of General Manager at Fort Payne Improvement Authority from 1986 to 2005. Academic qualifications include an MBA from Delaware State University and a Master of City Planning degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology, specializing in Utility Planning and Development.
