Luis Goncalves

Luis Goncalves is an experienced educator with a focus on Portuguese and Spanish languages. Since June 2010, Goncalves has served as the Acting Director of the Portuguese Language Program and a Lecturer at Princeton University, while also holding the position of Director at the Middlebury Portuguese School since September 2022. Previous roles include directing the Portuguese Summer Program at Yale University and teaching at Columbia University and the University of South Carolina. Goncalves has developed and restructured curriculum across various institutions and holds a Ph.D. in Romance Languages from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where a Master's in Luso-Brazilian Literature and a B.A. in Communication Studies were also obtained.
