Tom Woodward

Tom Woodward is a seasoned educational technology leader currently serving as the Director of Learning Spaces and Technologies at Middlebury College since February 2021. With extensive experience in instructional technology, Tom has held the role of Apple Distinguished Educator at Apple Computer since 2007. Prior to current responsibilities, Tom contributed to Virginia Commonwealth University as the Associate Director of Learning Innovation and led the Department of Instructional Technology at Henrico County Public Schools during a significant 1:1 laptop deployment. Tom's background also includes teaching at the University of Richmond and various instructional technology roles, complemented by a Master's degree in Instructional Technology from Virginia Tech and a BA in History from the University of Richmond.
