Dieter Zopf

Dieter Zopf has a diverse work experience in the pet food industry. Dieter currently serves as the Vice President of Sales at The Middleby Corporation since September 2018. Prior to this, they were the European Product Development Manager at PPF (Partner in Petfood) from January 2017 to December 2017. Before that, they worked at Lonza as the Global Marketing Manager for Petfood from January 2015 to January 2017. From 2011 to 2015, they held various roles at Lohmann Animal Health, including Market Manager for Petfood and Global Technical Sales Manager for Petfood. Dieter Zopf also worked as the Head of R&D and Technology at Saturn Petfood BV from 2008 to 2011, as well as the TAG - Snacks Food Formulation Manager for Europe at Nestle-Purina from 2003 to 2007. Their extensive career in the pet food industry began at Mars Petcare Germany in 1999, where they held roles such as Vendor Assurance Team Leader.

Dieter Zopf obtained their Engineer degree in Food Technology from Technische Universität Berlin between 1984 and 1990. Prior to that, they completed their Matriculation (Abitur) within the bound of secondary school education at Bavarian College Schweinfurt from 1981 to 1984. Additionally, they received a Certificate of expertise (Facharbeiterbrief) in Skilled Worker's for Print Mould Manufacturer from Meisenbach KG Germany from 1978 to 1981.
