Ramesh Rai CMIIA, CIA, is a seasoned professional in internal audit with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Director of Corporate Audit at The Middleby Corporation since September 2015, Ramesh has previously held positions as Senior Manager and Internal Audit Manager within the same organization. Prior to joining The Middleby Corporation, Ramesh was the Internal Audit Manager at AGA Rangemaster Group plc and held multiple audit roles at Deloitte, including Audit Manager and Principal Auditor. Ramesh began the career as an Internal Auditor with the London Borough of Hillingdon. Ramesh's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from De Montfort University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Audit Management & Consultancy from Birmingham City University, and professional qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors and the Global Institute of Internal Auditors.
