Dianne Roman

Appointed by the Middlesex County Board of County Commissioners in 2022.

Dianne is the interim director of human services for the City of Perth Amboy and has over 20 years of experience working in local government. She has worked for the City of Perth Amboy since 1999, serving in a variety of leadership roles within the City’s Business Administration, Human Services, and Human Resources departments. Dianne is a member of the Middlesex County Transportation Commission, Women’s Club of Perth Amboy, State Theatre New Jersey, Latino Advisory Group, and the Center for Latino Arts and Culture Alumna Advisory Board at Rutgers.

Dianne graduated with Honors from Rutgers University, where she majored in history/Puerto Rican and Hispanic Caribbean Studies and Spanish.
