Dr. Francesco Pontoriero D.o.

Dr. Francesco Pontoriero, D.O., currently serves as the Assistant Medical Examiner for Middlesex County, NJ, since July 2020. Prior experience includes a Forensic Pathology Fellowship at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Maryland from July 2019 to June 2020 and a Pediatric Pathology Fellowship at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children from July 2018 to June 2019. Dr. Pontoriero completed a residency in Pathology at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital from 2014 to June 2018 and obtained a Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the New York Institute of Technology: College of Osteopathic Medicine in May 2014. Earlier academic achievements include earning a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Rutgers University - Newark in 2008.
