Sho Islam

Sho Islam has a strong background in business development and advocacy, with a focus on the life sciences and food industry. They have held various roles at different organizations, including Division Head at Middlesex County, NJ - County Government, Business Advocate at NJ Business Action Center, Director of Business Development at AdvanceCT, and Business Development Officer at Choose New Jersey, Inc. Prior to these roles, Sho worked at Rutgers Food Innovation Center in multiple capacities, including Principal, Senior Manager, Senior Program Coordinator, and Business Development Associate. They also gained experience as a Graduate Research Assistant and Web Designer/Computer Assistant at Rutgers University.

Sho Islam has a diverse education history spanning multiple institutions. They obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental (Agricultural) Business Economics from Rutgers University–New Brunswick. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Food and Business Economics from the same institution. Sho then furthered their studies at Rutgers University - Camden where they were completing a Ph.D. in Public Affairs, with the exception of completing the dissertation. Prior to their post-secondary education, Sho earned a High School Diploma in Computer Science from Passaic County Technical-Vocational Schools.
