Deborah Houser

Deborah Houser has extensive experience in the field of education, currently serving as Superintendent of Middletown City Schools since August 2008, following roles as Assistant Superintendent, Senior Director of Human Resources, and Curriculum Coordinator. With a focus on leading assessments for 6,500 students and developing an innovative information system for data management, Deborah has significantly contributed to the district's educational objectives. Previous experience includes serving as a Compliance Officer at the Ohio Department of Education, where inspections of early childhood centers were conducted, and as an Adjunct Professor at Wright State University. At Dayton Public School District, Deborah held the position of Elementary School Principal. Educational qualifications include a Superintendent License from Miami University, a degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Ashland University, and both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Elementary Education and Teaching from Northern Kentucky University.
