Bobby Hiers

Bobby Hiers has extensive work experience in the field of IT security. Bobby started their career as a Network Security Engineer at MIDFLORIDA Credit Union in July 2014 and worked in that role until September 2016. Following that, they were promoted to AVP/IT Security Manager in September 2016 and held that position until August 2017. From August 2017 to October 2023, Bobby served as the VP IT Security Manager at MIDFLORIDA Credit Union. Currently, they are working as the SVP IT Security at the same company, starting from October 2023. Prior to their employment at MIDFLORIDA Credit Union, Bobby worked as an IS Supervisor for the City of Bartow from October 1998 to July 2014. Bobby'scareer began at the Bartow Public Library where they worked as a Library Supervisor from August 1995 to October 1998.

Bobby Hiers attended Polk State College from 1995 to 1998, where they studied engineering. Bobby also holds additional certifications, including Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA, GIAC GMON from GIAC Certifications, and GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) from GIAC.
