Midland College
Denise McKown-Yorkman has extensive experience in the field of education, currently serving as both Education Faculty and Dean of Education at Midland College since August 2014. Additionally, Denise has been an Independent Consultant with Rodan+Fields since July 2016. Prior roles include serving as the Education, Disability and Mental Health Coordinator for Midland ISD Head Start from June 2012 to June 2014, and as an Assistant Principal/Head Start Education Coordinator and teacher at Midland ISD from 1995 to June 2011. Denise holds an Ed.D. in Leadership and Innovation from St. Thomas University and has earned a MAED in early childhood educational leadership from The University of Texas Permian Basin, as well as a BSED in Education from Eastern New Mexico University. Currently, Denise is pursuing a Doctor of Education at St. Thomas University.
