Melissa McHale is an experienced science educator and researcher with a robust background in bioengineering and biomedical engineering. Currently serving as a Science Educator at Trinity School since July 2016 and as an Adjunct Professor of Engineering and Biology at Midland College since August 2011, Melissa also works as a Science Editor for Rice University, where assistance is provided to principal investigators and researchers in writing, editing, and publishing, particularly within biomedical engineering. Previous roles include Lab Manager/Research Scientist at Rice University and instructor positions within the BIOE department, along with significant research contributions during graduate studies at both Duke University and Mississippi State University. Melissa holds a PhD in Bioengineering from Rice University, an MS in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University, and a BS in Biological Engineering from Mississippi State University.
