Dan Chalk

Dan Chalk is a seasoned sports journalist at Midland Daily News since 1998, specializing in human interest stories that connect audiences to the personal narratives behind sports. With prior experience as a Spanish and careers teacher at Clare Public Schools from 1998 to 2000, as well as a Peace Corps Volunteer teaching English in Turkmenistan from 1995 to 1997, Dan has a diverse educational background. Dan earned a Bachelor of Arts in German from Adrian College between 1990 and 1994 and also attended Delta College from 1989 to 1990.
