Courtney Bell has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. Courtney started their career in 2003 as a Bank Teller at People's Bank and Trust, where they worked until 2005. Courtney then moved on to Crossroads Bank in 2007, working as a Bank Teller and Customer Service Representative for a year. In 2010, they joined Midland States Bank as a Customer Care Representative and later became a PAL Specialist II in branch administration. Courtney Bell then progressed to roles such as Operational Analyst and Policy & Project Coordinator before transitioning to the field of Risk Management. Courtney held positions such as Risk Management Analyst II, Manager - Process Risk, Senior Manager - Enterprise Risk Management, and Director of Process Risk. Currently, they serve as the Director of Operational Risk Management at Midland States Bank.
Courtney Bell, CRVPM, earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Finance from Eastern Illinois University between 2004 and 2006. Prior to this, they obtained an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Lake Land College from 2003 to 2004. Courtney Bell also holds the certification of Certified Regulatory Vendor Program Manager from the Compliance Education Institute, LLC, which was obtained in 2021.
