Jody Horner is the current President at Midland University. Prior to their current position, they were with H.J. Baker & Bro., Inc. as well as Cargill for many years. Jody started with Cargill in 1984 as Vice President of Global Diversity and eventually became the President of Cargill Meat Solutions in 2006. Jody was responsible for leading the processor and distributor of beef, pork and turkey products representing over a dozen major brands sold in retail and foodservice. Jody was also in charge of Cargill's relationship with Sysco and Walmart. In their 32 years with Cargill, they have been a leader amongst their peers and has gained a vast amount of experience in many different areas including IT, HR, Credit, R&D, Quality Assurance, Food Safety, Engineering, Employee Safety, Strategic Sourcing, Transportation & Logistics, Legal, Media Relations and Internal Communications.
Jody Horner earned their Bachelor of Arts in Economics from St. Olaf College. Jody then went on to obtain their Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management. After working for a number of years, they decided to return to school and earned their MBA from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management.
