Byron Stewart possesses extensive law enforcement experience, currently serving as Patrol Commander for Shift-B at the Midlothian Police Department since February 2021, and previously held the position of Support Services Commander, managing several critical units including the Criminal Investigation Unit and Police/Fire Communication Center. Prior to this, Stewart was a CID/Internal Affairs Police Lieutenant at Dallas College, responsible for overseeing criminal investigations and liaising with the District Attorney's Office.
