Tim Hicks serves as the Professional Standards Commander at Midlothian Police Department since November 2011, with additional roles including SRO Commander and Patrol/Traffic Division Commander. Prior to this, Tim Hicks held the position of Patrol Sergeant. Tim Hicks also worked at Midlothian Independent School District as the Director of Safety and Security from August 2019 to May 2024. Furthermore, Tim Hicks was the Assistant Commander of the Southern Regional Response Group - Special Response Team from February 2013 to August 2021. Tim Hicks co-owned Burleson Athletic Club and JH Property Management between 1995 and 2011. Educational qualifications include a BS in Criminal Justice/Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Executive Leadership from Liberty University, a Graduate Certificate in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from the University of Virginia, completion of the FBI National Academy, and training at Cooper Institute in 2012.
