Special Education Teacher at Midway ISD

Sundai Zachary has a diverse work experience in the education field. Sundai began their career as a Life Skills Teacher at Forsan ISD in August 2016, where they taught students from 6th to 12th grade. After that, they worked as a 3rd Grade Reading Teacher at Waco ISD from August 2018 to May 2020. In May 2020, they became a Social Marketer as a self-employed individual. Sundai then transitioned to become an EC-12 Special Education Teacher at MCCAMEY ISD in August 2020, a role they held until June 2022. Currently, they are working as a Special Education Teacher at Midway ISD, starting in August 2022. In this role, they collaborate with other teachers to modify lessons for students with disabilities or special needs and communicates their progress to parents.

Sundai Zachary has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Sociology/Psychology from Angelo State University. From 1989 to 1991, they attended South Plains College, where they studied Cosmetology/Cosmetologist, General. Sundai later obtained a Certificate in Teacher Education and Professional Development, Specific Subject Areas from the Region 4 Teacher Alternative Program. Sundai also holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Sociology from Wayland Baptist University. In 2009, they earned additional certifications, including an EC-12 Special Education Certificate from TEA and an EC-6 Generalist certification, also from TEA.
