Fire Alarm Division Manager at Midwest Alarm

Jim Drey has worked in the fire alarm industry since 1993. Jim began their career at Warren Supply Company as a Satellite Technician. In 1997, they moved to Automatic Building Controls as a Lead Fire Alarm Technician, where they managed fire alarm jobs, installed fire alarm systems in South Dakota, Minnesota and Iowa, and provided service and inspections. In 2005, they joined Midwest Alarm Company as the Fire Alarm Division Manager, where they manage a team of technicians and wears many hats.

Jim Drey completed their high school diploma at Gregory High School from 1985 to 1989. Jim then attended Mitchell Technical College from 1989 to 1991, where they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Electronic Communications. Jim is currently enrolled in Eastern Kentucky University, studying Fire Protection and Safety Engineering Technology. In addition, Jim has obtained a Special Olympics Coaching Certification Level 4 from Special Olympics in October 2015 and a NICET SET Level IV Fire Alarm Systems certification from NICET in February 2014.
