Jessica Swider has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. Jessica began their career as a receptionist at Northwest Podiatry Center in 2016. In 2020, they interned as a medical assistant at Midwest Center for Women's HealthCare and concurrently pursued their medical assistant education at Oakton Community College. In 2021, Jessica completed a phlebotomy clinical at Swedish Covenant Hospital, gaining expertise in various blood collection procedures. Jessica also served as a medical assistant student intern at Advocate Aurora Health, where they gained experience in patient care and medical charting using Epic. Currently, they are employed as a Certified Medical Assistant at Midwest Center for Women's HealthCare.

Jessica Swider has a Bachelor of Science degree in Integrative Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they obtained from 2018 to 2020. Prior to attending the University of Illinois, they attended Oakton College from 2016 to 2018, but did not earn a degree or specialize in a field of study. Before their time at Oakton College, they graduated from Niles West High School in 2016 and earned a High School Diploma. In terms of additional certifications, Jessica Swider obtained a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification from the American Medical Technologists in November 2021, and they also hold a certification in Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED from the American Red Cross, obtained in July 2020.
