Kristin Horvath

Kristin Horvath has extensive experience in the field of counseling and therapy. Kristin began their career at MaineStay Youth and Family Services, where they served as a Family Therapist and Youth Program Coordinator. Kristin then moved on to work at Ingalls Memorial Hospital as an Intensive Outpatient Program Coordinator, gaining experience in substance abuse counseling and coordinating treatment programs. Kristin also worked at New Hope Recovery Center as an Outpatient Program Coordinator, overseeing various counseling programs for individuals and families struggling with chemical dependency. Kristin later joined Timberline Knolls Residential Treatment Center, initially working as an Admissions Coordinator and then transitioning into a role as a Professional Outreach Representative. In these positions, they managed outreach efforts and collaborated with professionals specializing in mood disorders, eating disorders, substance abuse, trauma, and co-occurring disorders. Currently, Kristin is a Clinical Therapist and Outreach Director at Midwest Counseling & Diagnostic Center. Kristin Horvath obtained their B.A. in Psychology and Social Philosophy from Marquette University, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Following this, they attended Dominican University and completed their MSW, LCSW, and CADC in Social Work from 2004 to 2006.
