Lela Fausze, MS, RDN, LDN has a diverse work experience in the field of nutrition and wellness. Lela is currently working as the Vice President of Dairy Experience-Sustainable Nutrition at Midwest Dairy, where they lead the sustainable nutrition strategy for a 10-state midwestern region and provides support and resources for wellness managers. Prior to this role, they served as the Wellness & Communications Manager at Midwest Dairy. Lela Fausze, MS, RDN, LDN completed their education in a chronological manner. From 2001 to 2005, they attended The Ohio State University, focusing on English Language and Literature, General. Following this, they pursued their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Nutrition - Coordinated Program at the University of Illinois Chicago, graduating between 2011 and 2013.
Continuing their academic journey, Lela completed their Master of Science (MS) degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago from 2013 to 2014. Lela'sspecialization during their master's program was in Nutrition with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology.
In addition to their formal education, Lela Fausze has obtained various certifications to enhance their professional skills. In May 2019, they obtained a ServSafe certification from the National Restaurant Association. In January 2020, they became a Certified ServSafe Instructor and Registered ServSafe Proctor through the NATIONAL RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION SOLUTION LLC. Most recently, in November 2021, Lela acquired the ServSafe Allergens certification from the National Restaurant Association.
