Tom Bellinger

Tom Bellinger is the current Vice President of Business Development at Midwest Drywall Co. Tom has previously held positions as Regional Sales Manager at Vulcraft -Division of Nucor Steel, Director of Business Development at Midwest Drywall., Inc., and Business Development Executive at Texas Steel Tech, LLC. Tom also served as National / Program Accounts Sales Manager at New Millennium Building Systems-Division of Steel Dynamics.

Tom has been in the steel industry for over 40 years. Tom started their career in 1980 as a Regional Sales Manager at Vulcraft. Tom was responsible for developing and operating the A & E seminar and trade show program to introduce steel joists into the West Coast, which was traditionally a structural wood products region. Tom also adapted and developed “Wood Nailer” joists for West Coast style plywood deck roof systems.

In 2013, Tom became the National / Program Accounts Sales Manager at New Millennium Building Systems-Division of Steel Dynamics. In this role, they were responsible for growth and profitability of Nucor Vulcraft products as the company expanded West. Tom managed new product development, pricing and sales promotion. Tom also introduced and developed Vulcraft to become # 1 supplier for structural roof products in the 13 Western States.

In 2015, Tom left Steel Dynamics to become the Business Development Executive at Texas Steel Tech, LLC. In this role, they were responsible for developing and executing the company’s sales strategy. Tom also cultivated relationships with key customers and provided technical support.

Most recently, in 2020, Tom became the Vice President of Business Development at Midwest Drywall Co. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing the company’s sales operations and developing new business opportunities.

Tom Bellinger received their BBA in Marketing and Management from the University of North Texas. Tom then went on to receive their Mechanical Engineering degree from Texas A&M University.
