Paul Houska

Paul Houska has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. Paul started their career in 1993 as a Claims Supervisor at General Accident Insurance and worked there until 1998. Paul then joined CGU Insurance as a Commercial Lines Underwriter from 1998 to 2001. In 2001, they moved to Midwest Employers Casualty Company (a W.R. Berkley Company), where they held various roles including Regional Underwriting Manager, Account Executive Group Self Insurance, Manager of Safety and Compliance, and Senior Operations Consultant. Their most recent position at Midwest Employers Casualty Company was National Sales Director - Group Self Insurance, a role they held since April 2015.

Paul Houska has a Master of Science (MS) in Industrial Safety from the University of Central Missouri and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis. Paul also holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General from Webster University. Paul has additional certifications as a Certified Workers Compensation Counselor and as an Occupational Hygiene and Safety Technician from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. Paul is also a Workers Compensational Claims Law Associate.
