The Midwest Pediatric Device Consortium (MPDC) is an FDA funded incubator, accelerator, and hub of Ohio Children's Hospitals (Nationwide Childrens, Cleveland Clinic Childrens, Cincinnati Childrens, and The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center) to promote, support, fund, advise, and showcase any US medical devices being developed and seeking commercialization in the pediatric population.  

This includes:
- Adult Medical Devices looking to expand into pediatric uses
- Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) in pediatrics
- Diagnostic devices used in pediatrics
- Class I, II, & III Medical Devices
- Dental Applications that are considered medical devices

We provide: 
- Non-dilutive Funding Awards to select US pediatric projects. 
- Consultation on pediatric medical device development and commercialization
- Connection to the FDA via custom Pre-Submission meetings for pediatric devices

- Access to our network of VC, Angels, and investors familiar with pediatrics and medical devices. 
- Improving access to Real-World Evidence (RWE) data for pediatric innovations
