Kellie has been in the healthcare field since she was 16 years old, starting as a CNA at a skilled nursing facility in the Recover-Care family. Kellie received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2015 and worked in the acute care setting after graduating. During her time in acute care, Kellie worked in medical-surgical nursing with an emphasis on respiratory, oncology, and palliative care, and also worked in the critical care setting on a step-down intermediate care unit and a medical intensive care unit.
