Director, Community Engagement And Public Relations at Midwest Transplant Network

Nez Savala, APR has a diverse and extensive work experience. Starting in 2001, Nez worked as a Communications Liaison at the Heart of America United Way. In 2002, Nez moved on to become the College Relations Coordinator at MCC-Maple Woods. From 2005 to 2007, Nez served as the Community Relations Coordinator at the City of Ferguson, Missouri. In 2007, Nez joined the Hazelwood School District as a Communications Specialist II, a role held until 2012. Nez then worked as the Director of Public Relations at Confluence Charter Schools from 2012 to 2017. In 2017, Nez took on two roles: the role of Freelance Editor at Newsmagazine Network from February to September, and the role of Communications Manager at Saint Louis Community College from September 2017 to November 2022. Nez's most recent position is the Director of Community Engagement and Public Relations at Midwest Transplant Network, which started in March 2023.

Nez Savala, APR obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities, Ethnic Studies from Kansas State University between 1989 and 1993. Later, between 1999 and 2001, Nez Savala pursued a Master of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
