Dr. Christian Plehn

Dr. Christian Plehn is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in corporate strategy and development, currently serving as Director of Corporate Strategy at Miele since September 2021. Prior to this role, Christian held various strategic positions at BMW Group from October 2016 to August 2021, including Head of Division Strategy & Control for Global Purchasing Electronics & Digital, where responsibilities included management of strategic initiatives in product and technology innovation, market development, and partner management. Christian co-founded PLYCE, a cloud-platform for agile project funding, from August 2019 to December 2020. Educational qualifications include a Dr.-Ing. in Manufacturing Engineering from the Technical University of Munich, along with ongoing research at MIT and studies in Industrial Engineering and Management at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, coupled with a prior degree in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration from RWTH Aachen University.
