Josie Demeo

Josie DeMeo is an accomplished visual artist and educator with extensive experience in the art community. Since November 2019, Josie has served as a Golden Artist Paints Educator, conducting workshops to teach and inspire artists of all levels. Additionally, Josie operates as a self-employed artist since 2000, building a strong connection to creativity and self-expression. As an Aquaraliste at MIFO since June 2015, Josie leads watercolor workshops, emphasizing a friendly and enjoyable learning environment. Past roles include Art Instructor for the City of Ottawa, where art classes were taught to both children and adult beginners, and a Master Artist at Paint Nite, focused on making art accessible to everyone. Josie's leadership experience also includes serving on the board of directors for Arteast Ottawa. With a background in management from the University de Trois Riviere and Concordia University, Josie combines artistic passion with organizational skills to foster a balanced family and professional life.
