Mifras Educational Entrepreneurship Incubator

Our passion is driving improvements in education systems through the development of initiatives, entrepreneurs and an entrepreneurial culture. Innovation and entrepreneurship serve as a foundation for development and growth of the public education system in light of the challenges it faces and the ever changing world. Creating space for educational entrepreneurship. “Mifras” was established in 2012 with the purpose of creating a professional and qualitative platform for the development of educational entrepreneurship and innovation. We are interested in enabling school principals and their teams to improve the quality and professionalism of the educational system. To do this, we created “Educational Entrepreneurship Incubators” with the purpose of promoting entrepreneur networks and like every industrial sector, promoting entrepreneurship. These entrepreneur communities constitute a basis for constant learning, updates and opportunity. Through these incubators, school principals can acquire knowledge and receive support for their ventures. These ventures will bring about a cyclical process based on knowledge gathering and its organization, and the building of a concept, its formulation, and its implementation. The first incubator started in September 2012. Ten school principals from four different districts of the Ministry of Education participated in the incubator’s fellowship program. In 2017, 7 “open incubator” will be launched to allow many more school principals, along with various executives and other stakeholders to consult and benefit from the accumulated knowledge and expertise of Mifras on Educational Entrepreneurial development. Other Initiations by Mifras: 1. Organization and School Entrepreneurship assessment on-line tool 2. Think Tanks for major educational challenges producing breakthroughs and innovative best-practices 3. The Path of Educational Entrepreneurship: geographic initiation database
