Richard Young

Richard Young is an experienced sales and technical professional in the welding industry, currently serving as the Country Sales Manager at Migatronic A/S since November 2020, overseeing daily operations and managing a team to achieve targets. Previously, Richard held the position of Technical Sales Engineer at GYS from January 2019 to November 2020, focusing on building dealer networks and developing partner relations in the North of England and Scotland. Additional experience includes roles as a Process Specialist at Esab and Welding Demonstrator at Lincoln Electric. Richard holds a Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute, a Higher National Diploma in Materials Science from Rotherham College, and multiple qualifications in welding from various institutions, including the Technology Welding Institute, where Richard is pursuing credentials as both a European Welding Specialist and European Welding Technologist.
