Wafik Bardissi

Wafik Bardissi, MD, PhD, is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Since June 2007, Wafik has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Minapharm Pharmaceuticals and has also held the position of Chairman of the Board at ProBioGen AG since January 2010. Wafik has been the Chief Executive Officer of MiGenTra Egypt since January 2001 and a Board Member at MiGenTra GmbH since January 2021. Furthermore, Wafik has been the Chief Executive Officer for Amplifon in the Middle East since January 2004 and is the Managing Director of Hospice Egypt and Bardissi Medical since March 2009 and January 2007, respectively. Wafik received a PhD in Complex Decision Sciences and Artificial Intelligence from the University of Strathclyde and has multiple academic credentials, including an MSc in Business Information Technology and a BSc in Medicine and Surgery. Notably, Wafik was honored with a knighthood in the Pontifical Order by Pope Benedict XVI between January 2010 and March 2022.
